The 2007 Sangiovese from the Algunas Dias Vineyard is an extraordinary example of a California-style Sangiovese. Wild berry and a hint of Italian Olive fill the nose. Light but bold fruit coats the palate with flavors of tart cherry and honeysuckle. Crisp acid and mild tannins on the finish. A great pairing for any mild meat or tomato based sauce.
